White Bean Chocolate Brownies

Chocolate comes from cocoa which is a tree. That makes it a plant. Chocolate is salad. Okay, maybe it doesn’t qualify as a salad, but it sure belongs on this page. Also: chocolate!

What about chocolate with white beans? At one time this combination might have sounded crazy. But now we want to eat healthier and dessert can be part of that. Increase your fibre and protein intake by adding white beans to your brownies. Use any white bean variety that you like, but I suggest the navy bean or the cannellini bean. As long as you blend them well you won’t notice them. So add a little crazy to the mix and enjoy these brownies.

Now that we’re done talking health, let’s talk about chocolate! Want the best tasting brownies? Buy quality chocolate. You’ll notice the difference. Quality chocolate making is a fine art. It starts with quality cocoa beans and continues with roasting to bring out the richness of the chocolate. Quality chocolate will take your brownies from good to ah-ah-amazing. Are you drooling yet? Yeah, me too.
